I am a qualified Therapeutic Counsellor working in Shoreham-by-Sea
Individuals and couples
Having trained initially for four years with the CPCAB, I am a Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor. I am registered with both the BACP and ICEEFT and my private practice is in Shoreham-by Sea, West Sussex. Over the years I have added to my foundation training to support me in my work with couples and young adults.
Throughout my many years of working, I have experienced a vast range of reasons why people come to therapy. Some clients stay for a short period of time, others for years. We always go at your pace. My role is to be alongside you, as we explore how life is for you right now and work together to make sense of it all.
Relationship counselling
If you are looking for relationship counselling, you may be finding yourself in a situation that you and your partner just cannot move through. Quite often couples therapy is considered to be a last resort. However, imagine if you realised it was a preventative step leading towards a healthy happy relationship? The relationship you used to have, or even better.
Coming to therapy means we can work together to notice the negative cycle that has formed in your relationship. We encourage positive communication, learning how to ask for what you need, without blame or heightened emotion. We de-escalate the tension. I completely understand how daunting and scary it is, so you’re in safe hand.
I also support young adults
I have previously worked for two years within a sixth form college in Brighton as a counsellor providing face to face sessions with young adults 16-19 years old.
