I am a qualified Therapeutic Counsellor
Having trained for four years with the CPCAB I have a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My training was integrative, which means I have an understanding of many different counselling approaches, so I am able to adapt the way I work to best suit your needs.
I have experience in working with people of all ages, experiencing a range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, work stress and loneliness; people trying to adapt to unexpected changes (redundancy, illness or injury); and those struggling with low self esteem, addictions, self-harm, identity and negative body image.
I also support young adults
I also work within a sixth form college in Brighton as a counsellor providing face to face sessions with young adults 15-19 years old. Alongside this I am a tutor for a Counselling Skills course at Worthing College.
Previously I was a counsellor with The Hope Charity Project offering support to young people struggling with their emotional wellbeing. This support is offered to family and friends as well.
